UBE has entered into a memorandum of cooperation with six partners in the health and environmental network of Ubon Ratchathani Province under the initiative 'STOP & START SAVE world -2 degrees.’
UBE has been chosen as one of six key network partners, alongside the Happy Media Foundation, Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Public Health Office, Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Agricultural Office, Sinsap Kaew Corporation Company Limited, Ban Khu Mueang School (On Anukroh), and farmers of the Eat Sabai Jai Project. Together, they have pledged to increase green spaces and produce safe food to enhance food security, aiming to establish an environmentally friendly ecosystem and promote sustainability. This initiative will pilot in Ubon Ratchathani Province.

The agreement is based on the concept of 'Stop' to reduce energy consumption and promote energy-saving technologies, 'Start' to establish a green participation network with innovative solutions to address climate change, and 'SAVE' to emphasize responsible resource utilization. The signing ceremony took place on August 7, 2022, at Sunee Department Store in Ubon Ratchathani Province
Under this cooperation, UBE plays a crucial role in conducting business that prioritizes consumer safety, utilizing high-quality agricultural raw materials adhering to certified organic standards. Additionally, UBE facilitates technology transfer to reduce costs and enhance organic agricultural production for farmers, employing an integrated approach in collaboration with government sectors, civil society, and educational institutions such as the Agricultural Research and Development Office Region 4, Department of Agriculture, Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR), and Science Development Agency. Furthermore, UBE is committed to increasing green spaces within its factory area and promoting community involvement in the surrounding areas to foster a sustainable ecosystem in line with the company's sustainability policy. Emphasizing adherence to the BCG Model, UBE employs biotechnological processes in production and promotes renewable energy to replace external energy sources, complemented by an energy-saving policy aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions. This approach aligns with effective organizational management under principles of good corporate governance, creating shared value across the economy (Profit), society (People), and environment (Planet) to achieve sustainability across all dimensions.
