Recently, Ms. Sureeyot Khowsurat, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Ubon Bio Ethanol Public Company Limited or UBE, a Thailand’s leading manufacturer and distributor of processed cassava products, led a team of volunteers from UBE and its subsidiaries in organizing the "UBE CARE Tum Home Lam Dome Yai 2023" activity to protect the Lam Dome Yai River, a natural water source and tributary of the Mun River in Ubon Ratchathani Province, in cooperation with the government authorities of Ubon Ratchathani Province consisting of the Office of Natural Resources and Environment, the Environment and Pollution Control Office 12, Provincial Fisheries, Local Government Organization, Village Headmen Club, Network partners in the commune areas around the factory, and communes in the Lam Dome Yai area jointly organized important activities consisting of activity to release 149,000 aquatic animals from the provincial fisheries network and tree planting activities to celebrate the Auspicious Occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother's Birthday Anniversary 12th August 2023 with 200 plants from the Dong Fa Huan Botanical Garden, and the Office of Conservation Area Administration No. 9, the National Parks Department. The event was honored by Mr. Sommath Phothi, the district head of Phibun Mangsahan, who was chairman of the ceremony, together with representatives from government agencies, community members, and youths to participate in the activities which was held at Sai Thong Beach, Rai Tai Subdistrict, Phibun Mangsahan District, Ubon Ratchathani Province.
