Ubon Bio Ethanol Public Company Limited or UBE, a Thailand’s leading manufacturer and distributor of processed cassava products, organized the 2023 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders via electronic media (E-AGM) with Mr. Palakorn Suwanrath, Chairman of the Board of Directors (seated row - center) and Ms. Sureeyot Khowsurat, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director (seated row - 4th from right), together with the Board of Directors and management, attended the E-AGM meeting on April 18, 2023. The meeting resolved to approve each agenda item as proposed by the Committee, including the resolution to approve the payment of dividends for the operating results in 2022 (January 1 - December 31, 2022) at the rate of 0.0400 Baht per share, totaling dividends of 156,571,440 Baht or equivalent to 59 percent of net profit according to the separate financial statements (The Company has a policy to pay dividends of not less than 30 percent of net profit after income tax each year. It depends on the operating results and the resolution of the shareholders' meeting and will be considered from the separate financial statements based on the Company's operating results after deducting corporate income tax and reserves as required by law), dividends are scheduled to be paid to shareholders on May 15, 2023, reflecting confidence in moving forward with a growing company that regularly pays dividends.
